Do I have to shop through the SaveAPetMall™ to earn rebates?  Yes. Clicking links or banners to merchants through SaveAPetMall™ or the SaveAPetToolbar™ allows our merchant partners to report the charity ID that a SaveAPetMall™ shopper chose.

Where do I sign up? There is no registration required. SaveAPetMall™ is registration and hassle free. Just download the SaveAPetToolbar™ or visit the site directly to earn free cash for your favorite pet charity every time you shop.  

What percentage of the purchase price is rebated to the pet charity? The rebates you earn vary by merchant. View rebate amounts here.

Do I pay anything additional? Are the prices different? No. You are visiting the same merchant site as if you went to the merchant’s site directly. Without clicking the links in the toolbar you’ll be missing opportunities to lend support. You’ll find hundreds of top-name merchants so you won’t have to compromise on price or quality.  

Is my purchase tax deductible? You can only claim a tax deduction when you make a donation or pay over and above the value of an item, as you would during a charity auction. Since the prices are exactly the same as you would pay without shopping through SaveAPetMall™, no tax deduction can be claimed.  

Can I submit my favorite pet charity so they can benefit too? Of course, just fill out the submit-a-charity form and tell us as much as you can about the organization.

I just bought something. How do I know the organization will receive a rebate? Both the merchant and a third party track charity ID's and we have every confidence that your chosen organization will benefit. 

Is shopping through the toolbar secure? The toolbar only directs you to the merchant partners site, any purchases you make are made directly with the merchants. We only partner with top-name and trusted merchants.  

Toolbar Technical Questions

Will the Toolbar work on my Mac? Currently the toolbar is only designed for Windows users.

How do I uninstall the toolbar?

Uninstalling is easy, In Internet Explorer:

1. Open your computer's Control Panel then select "Add or Remove Programs". 

2. Click on "SaveAPet" in the list of installed applications.  

3. Click on the "Change/Remove" button.
